Now Publishing 2022 Stories/Poems
We are now publishing our 2022 stories and poems. The first few are up and ready to read. Many more to come between now and Christmas!
Publications 2022
Thank you to everyone who submitted work to Pens of the Earth. It’s been a real pleasure to read the entries.
We will be publishing stories and poems from 2nd November to 17th December.
Expect the unexpected. Expect encounters with whales, seahorses, dolphins and seals. Expect urban transformations and new perspectives on what defines home. Most importantly, expect glimpses of achievable futures that could bring renewed health and hope to our ecology.
We will be bringing you stories and poems every week, so keep watching! And do please share and engage – we want to hear from you.
Thanks to our skilled team of editors for their dedication and to our wonderful contributors for providing us with such imaginative and diverse entries.
2022 Submissions Closed
Submissions are now closed. Thank you to everyone who sent us work – we will be back in contact soon!
Give it a Go!
We have two new articles under the About menu – Writing for Non-Writers and Editing for Non-Editors. If you like the idea of sending something in to us but you’re ‘not really a writer’, these should give you the confidence and skills to give it a try!
Press Release
We now have a Press Release, giving newcomers and interested parties an idea what we do and how we do it!
2022 Submissions Open!
We are now open to submissions until the end of September! Read about our new themes, and how to send in your work, on our Submissions page.
We’ll be adding inspirational material regularly on our Life Under the Surface and Making Places for People pages, and on our Facebook and Twitter pages.
New Web Host
Our website is now hosted by Eco Web Hosting, who use green energy for their web servers and plant a tree every month for us!
Save Our Seas Competition – Results
